Hi,

A wise 2nd year student told me the Temple pass is $250 a semester (valid for ~4mo. when undergrad is in session) and a regular monthly septa pass is $70/mo. He suggested just buying the monthly pass if you were worried about losing the $250 one at all.

SEPTA raised all it's rates so the University Pass starts at $303.24 this year for students who are traveling one zone only. The pass is good for trains, subways and buses. You will have to decide if buying the pass is worth it for the amount of trips you will make per week.

For the form and price table go to http://www.temple.edu/bursar/UniPassFormInfo2006.htm

It is important to note that these passes are not replaced if lost/stolen/thrown away.
