Hello Class of 2011 and welcome to Temple. I am writing to ask if any of you are already parents, or are currently expecting your first child. Medical Students who are also parents have a special balance to try to strike, so we have formed a group on campus so that we can help each other out. We get together a few times per semester, and also we have access to information about how to get health insurance for the kids, babysitting and school information etc... local to the Philadelphia area. We are also working with the financial aid office to help address more of the needs of families in this setting. At any rate, if you fall into this category please drop me an e-mail or a phone call and we will get things rolling. In the mean time welcome again!!!
